Dermal Filler
As we age, our skin loses volume resulting in a thinner, more aged appearance. Dermal Fillers help to replace this lost volume with a few gentle injections, giving a fresher more youthful look. Just remember, Dermal Filler can still look natural!
Dermal Fillers used at BYGOLDEN are made of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in our bodies that aids in the production of elastin and collagen. Our cosmetic clinicians take the time to understand your perfect outcome, so you won’t be rushed in & out like other clinics. We’re known as Bayside’s most thorough cosmetic and skin clinic & we’d love to show you why.

Dermal filler treatment can vary, depending on the amount required to get your ideal result. Typical Dermal filler treatments take between 1-2 hours. Our clinicians will first discuss your aesthetic goals, followed by a variety of medical questions to ensure you’re a candidate for treatment. From there, the procedure involved a small amount of injections in the target area. We also use Cannula’s in certain areas which can provide a better result & reduce the likelihood of bruising.

At BYGOLDEN we use topical anaesthetic (numbing cream) to the target area to help reduce pain as much as possible. Many fillers contain lidocaine, which will continue to numb the area with each injection.
Some areas of the face will be more sensitive than others - like the lips, at BYGOLDEN we believe in optimising pain management and have various other interventions to help minimise pain such as ice packs, vibration tools and squeeze balls to ensure you’re comfortable throughout your cosmetic treatment

For most there is no downtime. It’s best to avoid alcohol & exercise 24 prior & post treatment.
Although rare, some patients may experience slight bruising in the treatment area for 4-7 days. If you're worried about bruising, add a Heallite II LED light treatment to your appointment, which is clinically proven to reduce bruising & recovery time.
